During my recent business trip to Tokyo, I had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Meigetsu. The hotel offers various recreational opportunities, ensuring guests can unwind after a long day of work. The onsite fitness center was equipped with top-notch equipment, allowing me to maintain my exercise routine. the hotel had a relaxing spa where I could indulge in rejuvenating treatments. The rooftop terrace provided a stunning view of the city, making it a perfect spot to unwind with a drink in hand.
The room at Meigetsu was too small for a couple, and we were a bit spoiled by our recent stay in Kyoto, where we had a room with a private bathroom and kitchen for a similar price.

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Meigetsu for 7 days and had a wonderful experience. The staff, especially Kenta-san, were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the facilities, including the kitchen and free coffee and tea, were great. The location near Minami Senju station made it easy for us to explore Tokyo and even travel to Narita Airport. we were very satisfied with our stay at Meigetsu.
Would recommend this hotel.

Hotel Meigetsu resides in the Taito Neighborhood of East Tokyo. It is a 30 minute Metro ride from the center (Shibuya, Roppongi) etc. The staff cares about your stay and will answer any questions in English. Rooms are small but comfortable. The bed is quite cozy. You even get a small TV and a nightstand. I highly recommend this hotel for business and budget travelers who want to save on lodging and rather stay in a traditional part of Tokyo.
Staff closes the doors at 12am so you cannot stay out very late. Also, the kitchen was very small and lacking utensils.

Very helpful staff and extremely friendly, clean. Overall good value for money. Though toilets and showers are shared, are always sparkingly clean. Highly recommended.
I would have liked to have a mirror in the room and perhaps a bit more substantial pillow (the one provided is a bit too tiny). However these are small things which I guess reflect the low accomodation fee.

Explored the area on a free bike, chilled at the lounge with a personal computer, and enjoyed the convenience of various amenities. Also, the location was great for shopping.
Oh, and let's not forget the pleasure of hearing other guests' bathroom trips due to lack of privacy.

Free bicycle rental: Exploring the area was a breeze with the hotel's complimentary bicycles. Pedaling around Tokyo felt like being in a real-life Mario Kart race, minus the banana peels and shell attacks.
No breakfast included: A bit highly priced given that no breakfast is included.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Meigetsu. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice, allowing us to check in early. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, despite our short one-night stay. We found it easy to access from Narita Airport, taking the Sky Access Express to Aoto Station and transferring to Senjuhashi Station. There were also two supermarkets nearby, making it convenient for us to grab any essentials. The location was perfect, situated in a residential area but still within a short walk to Minami-senju Station, which allowed us easy access to the city. The hosts were friendly and always went above and beyond to assist us. The room, showers, and toilets were impeccably clean, and we especially enjoyed using the sento. The kitchen was also clean, and the complimentary coffee was a nice touch.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 👍

Every member of the staff was service-minded and cooperative. Stunning and convenient location, it was close to a metro station. Plenty of restaurants to eat close by, like Torafugutei Minami Senju that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

Budget freindly. A good choice for city travelers. Located on a quiet neighbourhood.
The walls are very thin allowing all the noise from the other rooms to pass in.

We only stayed here for 5 nights, as we didn't have time, even so everything was great. The hotel had a beautiful and excellent location minutes away from Shinto Shrine.

I chose this hotel for attending a trade show and it was perfectly located for both business and leisure guests. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The only thing I missed for my work was a dedicated work area or business center. Other than that, my stay at this hotel was great.
